Absorbing Clamps are used for measuring interference signals on power supply cables. Decoupling clamps are available for a variety of different EMC applications.

Description

The absorbing clamp AMZ 41 has been designed for measurement of radio interferences emitted from electrical instruments via their connecting leads. The absorbing clamp measurement method (ACMM) is described in Clause 7 of CISPR 16-2-2. The absorbing clamp itself is described in CISPR 16 part 1-3: Radio disturbance and immunity measuring apparatus – Ancillary equipment – Disturbance power.

KEMA 801

RF Attenuation Clamp

  • High decoupling

  • Suitable to KEMZ 801

  • Simple insertion in the test setup

Description

The KEMA 801 is recommended as an additional decoupling network (ferrite tube clamp) for immunity test according to IEC/EN 61000-4-6 when using the clamp injection method. It shall be inserted on all the cables between EUT and AE except the cable under test. The KEMA 801 prevents, that the test signal applied to the EUT affects other devices, equipment or systems, which are not under test and improves the reproducibility of the test results.
